Mock Week

[ After the day before, with the reveal of the full extent of the rules and how the game works along with their hosts, the only thing everyone could do was have a meeting with alcohol and go to bed. And when awakened, everything is the same. It's still the large mansion, they're still locked inside, and there's still the idea that they have the choice to murder each other hanging over them. But now the mansion is free to explore to their hearts' content, save for the room under the stairs outside the mud room. All anyone can really do is just enjoy their week and hope for the best. ]

[ So. Still in the house of horrors. Still here and not at home. Still with murder over their heads. This sure is fun. Yup. Not awful at all. Haruka gets up out of bed and heads to the upstairs kitchen to make a giant breakfast because, hey, let's stress cook! There's bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits, white gravy, pancakes, waffles, she even made a fruit salad. But there's a lot of food. And she'll set it out buffet style so people can grab what they want, too. Haruka is gonna sit here with her plate of bacon, eggs and pancakes and bounce with nervous energy as she eats.

Later, though, she can be found in the cinema watching The Addams Family. She's got popcorn and a soda as she watches, but she doesn't seem to be enjoying herself. After that, she can be found in the craft room trying to sew. Key word being trying. She's not very good, it seems. Usually Resha sews. ]

[That is a lot of pancakes. He might have to alleviate the pancake overpopulation if that's the case.]

[Pearl is immediately drawn to the smell of food.]

[She's quick to grab a plate but then stares awkwardly at it. She doesn't recognize the meat at all.]

[ Wow you totally didn't flip him onto his back yesterday, what was yesterday, what are you TALKING ABOUT, EVERYTHING IS FINE. ]

[Oh, there's an interesting choice. Kiyo is going to be polite and quietly chill in the back while the movie's still playing.]

[OH HECK THAT'S A PIANO

Marina makes a mad dash for the instrument and parks herself there for... pretty much the entire day. She still doesn't want to be here, but at least she can make music!]

[Pearl is definitely going to join her, singing along. She makes sure to grab Marina some food throughout the day though. Gotta take of yourself, Marina!]

Yo this is inspiring. Maybe we really could have a concert here!

[Well, just because there's no obvious means of escape, doesn't mean there's no escape outside of murder whatsoever. It...just means it's not obvious. Right? And so for much of the day, Shepard is looking for escape.

Feeling up walls. Looking into alcoves. Checking the floors for any boards that sound different. Anything that could signify a weakness in this place. Anything to go on.]


[Craft Room]

[When he's not doing that, Fin's in here, apparently grabbing various items like scissors, depressors, yarn, tape...basically he's piling a bunch of stuff on a table and sorting them out. Who knows why.

Maybe someone should ask him why he needs a whole box of crayons.]

Have you found anything yet? [Eliza sounds kind of desperate to hear good news, but not that hopeful about it.]

[She's just getting the lay of the land and--]

What are you doing with a whole box of crayons?

[ ... He's surprised. He thinks he gets what you're getting at. He's doing the same thing--you can see the box in his hands, actually, he came in here for some tape! It's filled with medical supplies. ]

... Ah. That's probably wise. Surprised you have crayons though, what're you gonna use those for?

In a hallway IDK

[Hey there Fin, it's him, it's the guy who flirted with Vanitas a while ago and didn't know what a shark was. He looks at Fin, who's checking the floors, then shrugs it off as he examines the walls of this place.

He looks just a little dismayed.]

[ Conan Edogawa is a detective, so it's obvious that he's going to be investigating practically everywhere - you can find him crawling around the floor seeing if he feels anything off there or perhaps any panels on the walls or anything of that nature.

Anyway, you can also find him in the piano room, and there's something about it that makes him curious as he curiously plays the keys on the piano to check if there's anything off, but everything seems to be in check. If someone notices him, however, he'll stop and ask a question that's rather important: ]

Hey, hey, do you know how to play the piano? I want to try something, but I'm not really good at playing it myself...

[ It might actually be important! Of course, after the piano shenanigans, he might be found in the same room looking through some of the books on the shelves, finding it strange that amidst all of the music-related ones there's also books on gambling.

Late in the afternoon, he's probably going to be watching the Sherlock Holmes films in the cinema - the 1939 film series, not the terrible 2009 adaptation - or alternatively can be found bringing some of the concessions back into the room. And in the late evening, after eating, Conan can be found in the entertainment room - the sight of cards makes him a little sad and nostalgic, given who it reminds him of, but he won't turn down a game or two as a distraction; in fact, he's actually quite good at playing poker. ]

[ Sherbet is here because he's curious what this place's deal is. Spoilers: they don't have movies often in his world, they're too busy fighting. ]

Huh, he doesn't look like I remember him... [Eliza checked out the name of the movie, but that just makes her more confused.]

[Uta spends most of Monday simply in the crafts room, devoted to his task of making a mask. However, his devotion only goes so far, and he takes the occasional break to rest his eyes, wandering into other nearby rooms.]

[ He's not super crafty but admittedly he's just curious because he saw Uta in here when he was moving supplies around earlier and now that his hands are free, well. ]

... Whatcha makin'?

[And of course, mask boy ends up running into the mask maker at work. He's wowed by the quality.]

Impressive... And who might this mask be for?

[Ren seems mostly absorbed in making these bizarre arrangements that look sort of like flowers out of buttons and wire, but sure, he'll have a look.]

[ At the start of the day, Sherbet can be found in the Infirmary. He's taking stock of the medical supplies they have, seeing what's valid and what's not.

He's still a healer. Essentially, an angelic doctor; he needs to know what they're working with if someone IS stupid enough to get hurt, so... you can find him pulling out various things. Bandages, antiseptics, you know, pretty much all the usual stuff. He's counting things out. Eventually, about halfway through this, he enters the Storage Room and then returns to the Infirmary with a decently sized cardboard box that he begins filling with supplies.

Later, after he's put some things back but also stored those supplies in his room, he can be found outside, in the Patio area. He's not sitting down, he seems to just be standing around with a hand on the bars, a little lost in thought. Mostly, he's out here because it's less cramped, and he can stretch his wings.

Towards the night time, he can be found in the Piano Room, rifling through the books for a little while, and then staring at the piano in thought. ]

[ Having been fed and wandering for some time, Hiling lingers in the play room. Most of what she's encountered has been unfamiliar territory, but none so much as this. It's... cute. In much the same way her room is. She's cute too, so this is where she feels like she belongs. There are a lot of toys to choose from, but she settles on a ball. It's nice and bouncy when she throws it against the wall. She does it again, harder. It's a fun test of her reflexes. The rhythmic sound carries outside the room as it gets louder. ]

[Eliza spends some more time on the patio today, inspecting the bars and the space between them. She taps her chin, a thoughtful expression coming onto her face.

Later on, she can be seen in the crafts room, grabbing pieces of paper and writing on them. She might also be seen drawing portraits or maps as well. After writing a bunch, she starts folding them into paper airplanes, her tongue sticking out of the side of her mouth.

Finally, much later, she's back on the patio with a pile of those paper airplanes and can be seen trying to throw them through the bars.]
