[ You wake to a comfortable silence, warmth and softness surrounding you. The room is dim, but a little light comes into the room. Should you check, the room has an ornate clock that tells you it is still early-- only a few minutes after seven in the morning. Although it should be no difficult task to assess that this room is unfamiliar to you in every way; your last memories will be a bit herder to focus in on. But the haze will gradually lift and you will be left with a few simple facts.
This bed-- this room is not your own. Nor is it the last place you were.
You are not alone. There are at least two other people sleeping in beds like yours in this room.
Now that you are awake it is time to explore. As you do you will realize just how many others there are in this building. Meet with them and you will probably soon realize none of them know any more than you do. Still-- considering the situation it may benefit you greatly to work together.
It is likely that you will see portraits of some familiarity positioned throughout the building as well as some confusing writing posted in each of your rooms as well as just outside of the Ballroom.
Looking around you will notice that you have practically full reign of the house-- with one exception. It would appear that right now the office is locked. ]

[ He'll just keep that smile that, well, it's hard to tell if it reaches his eyes or not because of the mask on his face. ]

Wow. Just outright letting people know about that? How am I supposed to get the drop on people now? Not that you're letting me--
[ He holds out a hand, and freakin' nothing happens. Then he balls it into a very tight fist. ]
So what did you do to jam my powers, huh? Did you get him to help you?

[ And Van is just as pleasant as ever. ]

But part of him... he isn't sure. Something about these two feels really freaking strange. Now, Sherbet is an asshole, and also kind of an idiot, who has no filter, but he's not completely incapable of reasoning. He needs to learn more, if he wants to find a way out, to destroy these two. ]
... So this place itself has an effect on people like that, then?

[Uta can't feel his kakuhou. It's been bothering him all day. At least now he knows why.]

[ Nice to know he's not alone. ]

Now it's disgusting and hot. Ugh. I hate feeling like this.

[The novelty is quickly wearing off.]

[ He groans in annoyance. ]
This is so stupid. If they want people dead, why don't they just let us kill people and then go home? There's a bunch of weak and useless people here.

[As far as he knows, those don't exist...]

[ Sorry Conan he doesn't believe you're useful-- ]
Yeah, I'm an angel. Doesn't the halo and wings make it obvious?

[He shrugs.]
Most humans, in my experience, have some redeeming factors. They're surprisingly interesting creatures.

[For the first time, she's serious. She had already looked for the small god, Uzzi wasn't the type to leave the hardpoint unless summoned but she'd still looked.
Without Uzzi to transfer her tribute, she couldn't make herself untouchable...]
