[ You wake to a comfortable silence, warmth and softness surrounding you. The room is dim, but a little light comes into the room. Should you check, the room has an ornate clock that tells you it is still early-- only a few minutes after seven in the morning. Although it should be no difficult task to assess that this room is unfamiliar to you in every way; your last memories will be a bit herder to focus in on. But the haze will gradually lift and you will be left with a few simple facts.
This bed-- this room is not your own. Nor is it the last place you were.
You are not alone. There are at least two other people sleeping in beds like yours in this room.
Now that you are awake it is time to explore. As you do you will realize just how many others there are in this building. Meet with them and you will probably soon realize none of them know any more than you do. Still-- considering the situation it may benefit you greatly to work together.
It is likely that you will see portraits of some familiarity positioned throughout the building as well as some confusing writing posted in each of your rooms as well as just outside of the Ballroom.
Looking around you will notice that you have practically full reign of the house-- with one exception. It would appear that right now the office is locked. ]

[ He says this casually, placing his arms behind his head. ]
Well, we'll see about that. I'd probably get criticized by my commander for attacking first and asking questions later anyway, but I mean, I don't really have time to be wasting around here.
You been in a situation like this before? You sound like you're familiar with it.

[Then again his roomie has weird eyes so...]
Unfortunately, yes.

Yeah. You aren't? You kinda have the right attire--reminds me a little of Rigatona's. I'm guessing, if you've been through this before, you have some idea of what to expect?

No, I am merely a student- The Ultimate Anthropologist, in fact. This school uniform i wear happened to have been tailored to suit me by someone I care about very much...
[He could start talking about his sister, but there are more important matters to discuss.]
But I digress. In this game, you must be cautious, lest you face an untimely demise. Perhaps I could compare it to war or espionage, if that's what you're familiar with.

[ A small laugh. ]
I wouldn't understand why they'd take someone like me. I mean, sure, I like me, but I'm not exactly good bargaining material if you want to steal somebody for ransom.

[He glances back to the rules on the wall.]

What, that stuff? Honestly, it's a little stupid. What could they even tempt someone with, an escape?

Well, let's hope they're interesting secrets, at least.

[ Sherbet trusts the Head Angel. He wouldn't believe the hostage motive for a minute. ]
Grora, though... ha ha ha. She might be in for it. All short and stuff, bet they could just pick her up and whisk her off... too bad, I guess. That's what happens when you're an undercooked runt.
Think they'll bother showing us if they actually took anybody?
