[ You wake to a comfortable silence, warmth and softness surrounding you. The room is dim, but a little light comes into the room. Should you check, the room has an ornate clock that tells you it is still early-- only a few minutes after seven in the morning. Although it should be no difficult task to assess that this room is unfamiliar to you in every way; your last memories will be a bit herder to focus in on. But the haze will gradually lift and you will be left with a few simple facts.
This bed-- this room is not your own. Nor is it the last place you were.
You are not alone. There are at least two other people sleeping in beds like yours in this room.
Now that you are awake it is time to explore. As you do you will realize just how many others there are in this building. Meet with them and you will probably soon realize none of them know any more than you do. Still-- considering the situation it may benefit you greatly to work together.
It is likely that you will see portraits of some familiarity positioned throughout the building as well as some confusing writing posted in each of your rooms as well as just outside of the Ballroom.
Looking around you will notice that you have practically full reign of the house-- with one exception. It would appear that right now the office is locked. ]

[Gonna try and slug him in the face now.]

Listen, shortstack. Care about each other? That's stupid. No one here cares about anyone else. For starters, we all just got here. Secondly, no one attaches that fast, and you'd be a moron to care about someone here when you're incentivised to kill the people around you so you can leave.
Who would DO that? Unless... you're really that dumb, that you'd befriend someone willing to potentially kill you?

[Also did you see her profile? Likes: Befriending serial killers.]

And? That's not the point. Do you really think everyone is going to care about that? People have better things to be doing. Even if you say you don't want to, do you want to spend the rest of your life here?

[Part of her is now glad none of them are here-without their powers restricted, it should be much easier for them to get into this place.]

They can't be more powerful than everything! I'm sure at least one of those worlds will be protected! [She wonders just how powerful Zange has gotten now, with Recette's shrine to her.]

[ Just. Butting in there with that, Sherb, with the smuggest grin she can manage. ]
Know how you stop from killing, by the way? Make friends. It's harder to handle killing someone you care about.

[ He's hit a nerve, because now she actually seems angry. ]

[ He snorts. ]
... You're a fool if you think a single life here matters. I mean, did you LISTEN to ours hosts? They might be annoying, but they're right about one thing: you can die at any time.

[ Well. He got Haruka angry. ]

Then you're fighting the wrong war, lady. That doesn't make people precious, it just makes them perishable like canned food. When something expires? You replace it.

... Ah. That's definitely the logic of a twisted demon. The idea that an individual deserves some kind of self-importance. So, what, you think you get a pass because you weren't given a reason for your creation?
[ ... Ha... ha ha. That's rich. ]
Funny. The way I see it, at least my life serves a purpose. And what are you doing? Meandering around aimlessly?

[ Sorry, you have hit on a lot of deep-seated issues. She'd get along with a number of SMT protags. ]

[ ... He's not showing it, but he's actually really bothered. He doesn't want to let her get to him. There were times in the past, where he let people make him lose his cool. He's not letting that happen, he's gotten angry enough today. ]
It's foolish sentimentality to pretend otherwise. I mean, sure. I enjoy living. What creature doesn't? But I'm not going to go against my orders. Traitors and fools do that.

[ She hates religion. She's surprised that's not on her profile. She hates it. Hates it with a passion.
It took someone dear to her away. ]

[ He's smiling, quite widely, really, but it almost feels a little fake. Like he's too okay with all this, all that she's saying. ]

I don't need my ice to make you regret that statement. I will snap your tawny little neck, you bitch.
