Mock Week

[ After the day before, with the reveal of the full extent of the rules and how the game works along with their hosts, the only thing everyone could do was have a meeting with alcohol and go to bed. And when awakened, everything is the same. It's still the large mansion, they're still locked inside, and there's still the idea that they have the choice to murder each other hanging over them. But now the mansion is free to explore to their hearts' content, save for the room under the stairs outside the mud room. All anyone can really do is just enjoy their week and hope for the best. ]

[ All Haruka knows is there's a bit of blood leading to the infirmary, and Yurick is leaving it and there's been a commotion.

So now there's a 5'0" woman making a flying tackle at Yurick because she's assuming he's involved and she hasn't seen him around. ]

Oh, no you don't!

[mementodagger]

[The mage lets out an undignified squawk as he hits the ground hard, barely saving his face from bashing into the floor by throwing out his hands. His palms are scraped and sore but he's more concerned with getting away. He tries to squirm out from under her.]

Bloody hell! Get off me!

[bearshercross]

[ Since Camilla is here too. ]

What the hell did you do!?

[mementodagger]

Nothing! That idiot... I told him not to draw attention to me!

[He's still thrashing under Haruka. Something metallic under his cloak bangs into the floor with a sound that will be familiar to anyone who's ever dropped a sheathed sword.]

[carnageandclass]

Nothing hmmmm? Mind if I take a look under that cloak?

[Raised around a brother who uses swords here. Don't mind her taking a lil peek and attempting to grab said item. Does she?]

[mementodagger]

[She'll get a glimpse of a very large sheathed dagger with a spiked hand guard, more like a short sword, buckled across the boy's lower back. He rolls as best he can to keep it away from her. With Haruka trapping the cloak against his body the spikes tear holes in the fabric.]

Don't you dare touch that! It was my father's, it's all I have left! I won't let you take it!

[bearshercross]

Like hell we're letting you go, you're suspicious! What the hell is going on!?

[ Listen if you can explain it she'll probably let you go? ]

[mementodagger]

[Yurick growls at her, banging a fist into the floor in frustration.]

I don't trust any of you! I was trying to stay hidden so no one would make an attempt on my life!

[carnageandclass]

And yet that would have made your more suspicious.

[This kid is dumber than she thought.]

If you explain and let us see that little toy of yours, we won't be so rough on you.

[mementodagger]

[He's not stupid, he's a scared, severely introverted teenager in a strange place with no allies and no magic. He's paranoid.]

It's my father's dagger, that's all! I found it in my room the other day with that odd letter about granting a wish.

[He's still squirming.]

I just wanted to learn about the lot of you, see who might be a threat to me, so I've been observing from the shadows. I heard a commotion and I came out to see if someone was dead. That's the entire truth, I swear it!

[bearshercross]

[ Well. Haruka will at least get off of him. ]

...Can we look at it? Just to be sure. There's blood--someone was hurt. Doesn't hurt to check to see if it was used here, y'know? Just. To be sure.

[mementodagger]

[Finally, he's free. Stars protect him, he's not happy about this, but he knows running will just get him caught again. So with a scowl, he reaches under the cloak and draws the weapon, holding it out to show them. He won't let go of it, but one thing will be obvious.

There is no blood anywhere on the dagger.]

Satisfied?

[But Camilla is staying put for now. However she does ease off slightly because she does not fully trust him.]

[SPEAKING OF BLOOD

Here comes someone who does have some blood on him, though he also appears to be uninjured.

He's also going to look at the scene with n expression that says what the hell did I miss]

[More people? Yeah, eventually everybody's going to come over here and be suspicious of him. The thought of all those eyes staring at him, judging him, makes Yurick's skin crawl.]

Before you ask, I didn't do anything!

I wasn’t gonna accuse you of anything?

I need help from some of you guys, in the craft room, and time’s a factor.

[Slightly pointed look at Sherbet]

And someone needs to stay with him. I’ll explain on the way.

[another commotion, what the fuck is this morning]

[Stars, all these girls running over to corral him?? Yurick scoots back from this newcomer, giving her a withering look.

If she's looked at the profile pictures, she'll recognize that distinctive beaded silver hair and eyepatch.]

[He's a popular guy today, apparently. At least this one is smaller.]

Well? How are you involved in this?

[mementodagger]

I'm not! I already explained everything to these two!

He's good. No blood on the blade.

[ Listen, nothing else seems suspicious. ]

[Camilla may have gotten too late yo the craft room commotion but she was there to see the boy attempt to sneak away. You can bet your ass she's sprinting in heels to catch him as well.]

[Oh hell. This one reminds him of a calmer, probably more dangerous version of Syrenne. Which is saying something because, drunk or sober, Syrenne is dangerous. Now he's really struggling to escape.]

[If he ever gets away from these crazy women, he's going to light Sherbet on fire. Even if it means soaking the blond in lamp oil and striking a flint on him.]
