Mock Week

[ After the day before, with the reveal of the full extent of the rules and how the game works along with their hosts, the only thing everyone could do was have a meeting with alcohol and go to bed. And when awakened, everything is the same. It's still the large mansion, they're still locked inside, and there's still the idea that they have the choice to murder each other hanging over them. But now the mansion is free to explore to their hearts' content, save for the room under the stairs outside the mud room. All anyone can really do is just enjoy their week and hope for the best. ]

Nothing hmmmm? Mind if I take a look under that cloak?

[Raised around a brother who uses swords here. Don't mind her taking a lil peek and attempting to grab said item. Does she?]

[She'll get a glimpse of a very large sheathed dagger with a spiked hand guard, more like a short sword, buckled across the boy's lower back. He rolls as best he can to keep it away from her. With Haruka trapping the cloak against his body the spikes tear holes in the fabric.]

Don't you dare touch that! It was my father's, it's all I have left! I won't let you take it!

[bearshercross]

Like hell we're letting you go, you're suspicious! What the hell is going on!?

[ Listen if you can explain it she'll probably let you go? ]

[Yurick growls at her, banging a fist into the floor in frustration.]

I don't trust any of you! I was trying to stay hidden so no one would make an attempt on my life!

And yet that would have made your more suspicious.

[This kid is dumber than she thought.]

If you explain and let us see that little toy of yours, we won't be so rough on you.

[He's not stupid, he's a scared, severely introverted teenager in a strange place with no allies and no magic. He's paranoid.]

It's my father's dagger, that's all! I found it in my room the other day with that odd letter about granting a wish.

[He's still squirming.]

I just wanted to learn about the lot of you, see who might be a threat to me, so I've been observing from the shadows. I heard a commotion and I came out to see if someone was dead. That's the entire truth, I swear it!

[ Well. Haruka will at least get off of him. ]

...Can we look at it? Just to be sure. There's blood--someone was hurt. Doesn't hurt to check to see if it was used here, y'know? Just. To be sure.

[Finally, he's free. Stars protect him, he's not happy about this, but he knows running will just get him caught again. So with a scowl, he reaches under the cloak and draws the weapon, holding it out to show them. He won't let go of it, but one thing will be obvious.

There is no blood anywhere on the dagger.]

[But Camilla is staying put for now. However she does ease off slightly because she does not fully trust him.]

[SPEAKING OF BLOOD

Here comes someone who does have some blood on him, though he also appears to be uninjured.

He's also going to look at the scene with n expression that says what the hell did I miss]

[More people? Yeah, eventually everybody's going to come over here and be suspicious of him. The thought of all those eyes staring at him, judging him, makes Yurick's skin crawl.]

[Stars, all these girls running over to corral him?? Yurick scoots back from this newcomer, giving her a withering look.

If she's looked at the profile pictures, she'll recognize that distinctive beaded silver hair and eyepatch.]

[He's a popular guy today, apparently. At least this one is smaller.]

I'm not! I already explained everything to these two!

[ Listen, nothing else seems suspicious. ]

So, what, do you just really like looking suspicious?

For the last time, I was avoiding everyone because I don't trust any of you!

[voltrounds]

Until you started wandering around carrying a big knife in a place where we were being encouraged to kill each other.

It's a memento from my father! Someone left it in my room on Tuesday with that odd letter. And I'm carrying it for protection in case someone comes after me!

[Now she feels bad.]
