Mock Week

[ After the day before, with the reveal of the full extent of the rules and how the game works along with their hosts, the only thing everyone could do was have a meeting with alcohol and go to bed. And when awakened, everything is the same. It's still the large mansion, they're still locked inside, and there's still the idea that they have the choice to murder each other hanging over them. But now the mansion is free to explore to their hearts' content, save for the room under the stairs outside the mud room. All anyone can really do is just enjoy their week and hope for the best. ]

Ciel. No one was supposed to say anything, though. ... I don't think Etihw meant for it, but the kind of personality they gave her... making a healer that kind, it's asking for trouble. So of course she'd end up being nice to the enemy, too. I think almost everyone knows she likes Lost.

She's the one who made my scarf for me.

[ He messes with it a little. ]

... She doesn't talk much. If at all.

[Eliza glances at the scarf, nodding.] It's a nice scarf. [However, something comes to mind about what he just said.] You-you said you were all expected to die in battle. Is-is that true even for healers? [Even for gentle, kind healers?]

Yeah.

[ Said without any hesitation. ]

It's sort of what's just expected. If they hit us hard and fast enough, we'll probably go out eventually. They've coordinated assaults in the past. We've lost healers and pretty high-ranking officials before.

[telecosmetic]

[A soft sigh.] That's...your wish really would have saved a lot of people, wouldn't it? Do...do you think your god would change their mind themselves if another god spoke to them about it? [She will petition whoever she can reach to try and change this.]

[ Oh hey look he's finally admitting Eti is an ass. ]

Etihw is... they're not someone like me or you. They're... I don't want to say "untouchable" but... maybe "unreachable" is a better word. Sometimes I wonder if they feel anything at all. Their emotions are really... distant, and cold. Like ice. ... Which I suppose is weird for me to say, given what I'm pretty much made out of, but... they have the kind of eyes that could freeze a person solid just from looking into them.

I'm not so sure they'd listen.

[She finally steps a bit away from him, sitting down and looking at her lap. It's really disappointing to hear that, but at the same time if that's true she's not going to risk Zephyr or their family against that.]

...sorry. I don't know how to deal with a god like that. And...I'm not sure Zephyr would either...
