Mock Week

[ After the day before, with the reveal of the full extent of the rules and how the game works along with their hosts, the only thing everyone could do was have a meeting with alcohol and go to bed. And when awakened, everything is the same. It's still the large mansion, they're still locked inside, and there's still the idea that they have the choice to murder each other hanging over them. But now the mansion is free to explore to their hearts' content, save for the room under the stairs outside the mud room. All anyone can really do is just enjoy their week and hope for the best. ]

[ Just kind of came into the infirmary at the right time, didn't he? Akira's frowning a bit but it's only slightly evident by the subtle narrowing of his eyes as he looks between Van and Sherbet. ]

It can't be that bad.

I gave him an eyepatch colored like his lover's hair!

[ Said plainly. ]

[ Akira grins then, feeling a bit mischievous right now. ]

[ He's done what he came here for. So, laughing, he's going to just. Disappear. Have fun, kids, don't kill each other ]

[ He's scrubbing his hair in frustration, it's even messier now. ]

VAN YOU ASSHOLE GET BACK HERE!

[ He looks at Akira. ]

[ W e l l. If you hadn't tossed him into this ridiculous mess, he'd almost like you more but you're still strangely likeable, Van. Not that he would ever tell him that.

Akira just looks over to Sherbet, amusement still clear but somewhat more subdued now. ]

Right. If you say so.

[ A pause. ]

Do you need help getting the eyepatch on?

[ ... He stares at the eyepatch. Then Akira. Then the eyepatch. He really does like that it's his colors, but... ]

I-I'm not gonna wear that.

[ Huff. ]

...Why not? It will look better than nothing.

[ Sherbet stop being so difficult. ]

[ He practically bristles. ]

They're my enemy's colors! You really think I'd go around putting that crap on my face?! No way.

[ ... He's not throwing it away, though. ]

Think of them as my colors, then. Well... one of them.

[ He'd gotten a glimpse of the red color at least. He's trying to be helpful now or... something. All done to try and get Sherbet to stop being stubborn. ]

My gloves when I do my 'work' are red too.

... No, it's more of a pink color. Like the underside of his hair and his horns...

[ Hues are important! ]

Actually it's really weird, I don't think I've ever seen another person with hair two-toned like that. Besides, it's completely not the point. Doing something like that would be blasphemous and it'd go against the uniform I'm supposed to be wearing...

[ Why does he sound almost happy about that. ]

[ Well this works too. It had just been a passing glimpse of it so nobody could fault him for that. Sherbet sounds strangely happy when he'd spoken so maybe Van wasn't too far off from the lover thing after all. ]

I doubt anyone would think of it like that. [ A sigh. ] It's just an eyepatch and you're the only one fussing about wearing it. Nobody else will really have a problem with it, i'm sure.

[ He just sorta turns it over in his hands. Uuughhhhhh. ]

It's gonna look so stupid, what's wrong with that guy!!

You won't really know how it looks until you put it on.

[ ... He's a little red as he stares at the eyepatch deep in thought. ]

... Someone put his picture on the wall in the ballroom, too. I bet it was that asshole Van.
