Mock Week

[ After the day before, with the reveal of the full extent of the rules and how the game works along with their hosts, the only thing everyone could do was have a meeting with alcohol and go to bed. And when awakened, everything is the same. It's still the large mansion, they're still locked inside, and there's still the idea that they have the choice to murder each other hanging over them. But now the mansion is free to explore to their hearts' content, save for the room under the stairs outside the mud room. All anyone can really do is just enjoy their week and hope for the best. ]

[And now she turns to address the room, raising her voice.]

I don't think people on the moon heard you.

Of course they didn't. There's no air in space.

You know that's not what I meant.

I'm sorry if I don't trust everyone to have thought this through.

I meant that you just yelled in my ear, Irving. You had a good idea.

...oh. Sorry.

It's alright, really.

...but yeah. If we catch anyone trying to kill someone over this, they're an idiot and they shouldn't expect any sympathy.

[chaseastar]

No, I don't think they'll be expecting any. Hopefully, anyway.

[voltrounds]

...I guess they'll probably be expecting nobody to know.

[chaseastar]

Possibly. [She sighs.] This is really hard to get my head around...

[voltrounds]

Don't worry about it. We just have to make sure nobody takes the bait.

[chaseastar]

Miss Stone suggested we sleep in two rooms only, one for the girls and one for the guys. I think that'll help to make sure no one takes it.

[voltrounds]

Yeah, that'll help. They'd have to either do it right there in the room with everyone around, or lead their victim away without being noticed.

[chaseastar]

Right. That way we won't have to worry.

[voltrounds]

So, make sure everyone knows better than to fall for this 'motive,' keep everyone together... maybe there's something else we could do. Look for potential murder weapons and restrict access to them, maybe?
